Why this wording is useful for this role
The work-history lines distinguish cleaning and support from cooking. They show what happened during a shift without inventing speed targets, customer feedback or responsibility for running a kitchen.
If you also prepared ingredients, describe the actual preparation and level of supervision. Do not copy chef responsibilities simply because you worked near the chefs. Restaurant, school kitchen and hotel vacancies may emphasise different tasks.
Check before using the example
This is a writing example, not a claim about a real applicant or a promise of interviews. Your CV must reflect your own tasks, dates and qualifications.

- Do not add knife skills or allergen responsibilities you did not have.
- Put the duties most relevant to the advert first.
